computer space

in 1971 the computer space was released by nutting associates, it was created by Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney, it was the first commercially coin-operated video game. it has sold 1500 units.
pong

Nolan Bushnell an Ted Danbey then opened their own company called atari inc, a year after computer space the atari pong was released in 1972. this made a lot of improvement from the design of ralf baer brown box, they added sound effect and speeded the ball. 

space invaders 

in 1978 the space invaders was released, it was developed by Tomohiro Nishikado and manufactured by Taito. it was the first game machine to display HI-score.

asteroids 

in 1979 the asteroids arcade game was released by atari, and designed by lyle rains and ed logg. 

pac-man

pac man is an arcade game released in 1980, it was developed by namco.

defender 

in 1981 the defender was developed and released by williams electronics 

donkey kong

in 1981 the donkey kong arcade machine was released by nintendo, it was directed by a Japanese's video games designer Shigeru Miyamoto.

street fighter

in 1987 an arcade game street fighter was released by capcom,

mortal kombat

in 1992 another arcade fighting game was released called kombat, it was developed and published by midway games. it was the first game in mortal kombat series
