oxo

oxo is a computer game, it was developed in 1952 by Alexander S. Douglas, it was the first known game to display visuals in video monitor, to play it you would need to use rotary telephone controller.

in 1972 space war computer game was developed by Steve Russell. its a two player game where each play control a starship and try to destroy each other.  

first generation
the first generation computer games were often text based games or interactive fiction, you play them by entering a command. 
zork


zork is one of the first interactive fiction computer games, the first version of zork was released in 1971, it was developed using MDL programming language, this game is played by entering a command.

in 1985 the bard's tale was released, it was designed and programmed by Michael Cranford, it was originally released for the apple 2.

pool of radiance is a role playing video game, it was developed and published in 1988 by Strategic Simulations, Inc.

in 18 december1976 the Microchess was released, it was developed by peter r Jenning, he was selling it at the price of $10, it was the first microcomputer software to sell 10,000 copies.

on the 6 of june 1984 a matching puzzle game was released called Tetris, it was designed and programmed by Alexey Pajitnov. the Tetris is just a simple puzzle game where different type of blocks fall down and you have to rotate them to horizontal raws of bricks.

in 1991 a graphic adventure puzzle video game was released called MYST, it was developed and directed by two brothers robyn and rand miller.

in 2001 wolfenstien the first game of the world war 2 series was released, it was developed by muse software.

doom is horror and science fiction shooting game, it is one of the most influential titles in video game industry. it was released in 1993,

sim city is series of computer video game started in 1989, it was developed by will wright and published by maxis. it was the best selling computer game up until 2012.


everquest 


everquest is a 3D fantasy multiplayer online video game, it was released in 1999. it was designed by brad McQuaid, steve clover and bill trost and developed by sony.

champion of norrath is pc, and playstation game released in 2005,  it was developed by snow-blind and published by sony, its an only video game where you design your realistic character and kill others.

computer space


in 1971 the computer space was released by nutting associates, it was created by Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney, it was the first commercially coin-operated video game. it has sold 1500 units.
pong



Nolan Bushnell an Ted Danbey then opened their own company called atari inc, a year after computer space the atari pong was released in 1972. this made a lot of improvement from the design of ralf baer brown box, they added sound effect and speeded the ball. 

space invaders 


in 1978 the space invaders was released, it was developed by Tomohiro Nishikado and manufactured by Taito. it was the first game machine to display HI-score.

asteroids 


in 1979 the asteroids arcade game was released by atari, and designed by lyle rains and ed logg. 



pac-man


pac man is an arcade game released in 1980, it was developed by namco.
